Personal:

I’m a Glaswegian living in North Yorkshire. Happily outnumbered at home by Katy, our 3 daughters and Flatcoated Retriever who refuses to grow up. I’m a lapsed skier and SCUBA diver, although I am confident those days will return. I’m a keen road cyclist and will be attempting Land’s End to John O’Groats in 2018 to raise money for the Royal Signals Benevolent Fund and the Gurkha Welfare Trust.

Professional:

I am a Royal Signals Lieutenant Colonel currently serving in Gloucestershire as the Chief of Staff (Operations) of Joint Forces Cyber Group. In this capacity I am responsible for leading a team of 20 SMEs in planning, developing and directing current and contingent cyber operations in partnership with colleagues across government. I have 20 years Regular Army experience predominately in Service Delivery and Cyber, including deployed on global operations. I’m a Chartered Engineer with the IET and a Chartered Manager with the CMI.
